The Ultimate Spring Cleaning Checklist

With longer days and fresh air finally within reach, spring is the perfect time to give your home a top-to-bottom refresh. Use this checklist to make sure nothing gets missed.

Every Room

Dust ceiling fans, light fixtures, and vents. Wash windows — inside and out. Wipe down baseboards, door frames, and window sills. Vacuum under furniture and along walls. Touch up scuffs on walls with a Magic Eraser or matching paint.

Kitchen

Deep clean the oven and refrigerator (including coils). Empty and wipe down all cabinet interiors. Clean behind and under appliances. Descale the kettle and coffee maker. Replace any worn sponges, cloths, and dish brushes.

Bathrooms

Scrub grout and regrout if needed. Descale showerheads using a vinegar soak. Wash shower curtains and liners. Discard expired medications and toiletries. Organize cabinets and replace worn towels.

Bedrooms

Wash all bedding including duvets, pillows, and mattress covers. Rotate or flip mattresses. Clean mirrors and wipe down furniture. Declutter wardrobes — if you haven't worn it in a year, donate it.
